Salem State College, Salem, MA, 1993 to date.  Granted tenure, 1996; promoted from Associate Professor to Professor, 1997.  Undergraduate ESL courses; Basic Writing; regular Composition I and II; Theories and Principles of ESL (grad course); Methods and Approaches in ESL (grad course).

University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, 1979-1993.  Granted tenure and promoted from Assistant to Associate rank, 1984.  On paid sabbatical leave in Washington, D.C., 1985-1986.  On unpaid leave teaching junior high school in California in order to enhance my qualifications as a teacher trainer, 1986-1988 (see below).  Promoted to Full Professor, 1991.  To see the home page of UPR Mayaguez, click here.
