Professor Linda Jane Coleman
teaching at Salem State College

   

    Linda Jane Coleman is a former Bank Officer, Production Manager, Cash Control Manager, and Public School Teacher. She worked with the University of Baltimore from 1977 - 1984 where Ms. Coleman was Assistant Professor of Marketing and Director of the Graduate Women’s Program in Management. She has published many articles and consults with Businesses and Universities in the areas of Human Resources Development and Marketing.

   Currently, Ms. Coleman is a Professor of Marketing at Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts. She is presently teaching International Marketing and Principles of Marketing. Ms. Coleman is very active in the community and served on the Special Olympics of Massachusetts Board of Directors for nine years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Master of Science degree in Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and Postgraduate work in the area of Marketing and Organizational Behavior from the University of Baltimore and the University of Maryland.

    Professor Coleman’s research interests include International Marketing, Market Segmentation, Product Differentiation, Sports Marketing, Marketing and the Law, Social Marketing, Health Care Marketing, and Human Resource Development.
