Lab Policies and Procedures

Labs are important.  You are expected to attend and complete all labs. 

Read these carefully:

1. Come prepared; read the lab before class. I hand labs out the previous lecture. If missed the class and didn't get one then downloaded and print it out.
   
   
2. Labs are to be neatly completed in pencil. All answers should be clear and legible.
   
   
3. Depending on the lab I will either collect and grade it, request a wiki sumary, or quiz you on.
   
   
4. Review what you learned from the previous lab(s). Most labs will begin with a short quiz.
   
   
5. Be proactive. Ask me questions if you don’t understand the lab or any material on it.
   
   
6. Do not depend on your lab partner for answers. Independently work out your own answer and discuss and evaluate your results.
   
   
7. Do not leave the classroom until your lab has been completed and checked or collected by me.
   
   
8. You will receive a 0 for any lab missed (unexcused).  If you are sick or have a valid excuse for missing a lab you must make it up on your own time within a week of returning.
