Comments on worksheet 1: This worksheet will serve as a diagnostic test of the level of students. Do not despair if you find the work load too large in this worksheet. Future worksheets won't take as much of your time. On 01/24, we will be discussing the content of the worksheet, gauging the level of frustration of students with different parts of the worksheet, and assessing how to proceed. It is likely that from this point on, there will be two versions of each subsequent worksheet: one more advanced than the other, for the benefit of those of you who have already seen some of the more basic material and would like to get a little bit more out of the course. Again, the workload will be significantly lighter from here on.
General comment: From now on, you are welcome to submit only one worksheet, among worksheets nA and nB, per week. I will be posting updates to the course on this website as we move along, so keep checking this page out from time to time.
