Born in Freiburg, Germany, in 1973. Raised in troubled Guatemala . Earned a PhD in
Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A passionate supporter
subscriber to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and an unabashed subscriber
to cosmopolitanism and the strengthening of the international rule of law. Currently
loving living in beautiful Salem, Massachusetts.
