SALEM STATE COLLEGE SCHOOL OF NURSING PERSPECTIVES IN HUMAN ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION III NUR 410 INTRODUCTION NUR 410 is a web-enhanced course. This means that the student will come to the classroom on specified dates but will be able to access the content from a computer at home or a computer at the college. All students should have an e-mail address. You can get this at the college. You will have to have a password to access the content, which will be available on the first day of class. SYLLABUS You will purchase the NUR 410 syllabus at the Salem State College Bookstore along with your NUR 413 syllabus and required text(s). CONTENT There are four classes in this course as well as many media assignments. The content in the classes will be tested in the one exam given in NUR 410. EVALUATION The one required exam and debates will be given in the classroom on the specified dates in the syllabus. QUESTIONS There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the content via e-mail. This will be explained on the first day of class. One of the critical care instructors will answer your questions on Mondays and Thursdays via e-mail. SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIAL There are many interesting sites on the World Wide Web related to nursing and Critical Care. A few of these are listed in the Supplementary Section and are organized according to the four classes.
