PETER SABLOCK

Welcome to my webpage and a little bit about me before you start surfing this site. I received my BS and PhD in Geology from the College of Mines, University of Idaho. My research took me to the high Andes in Bolivia and Chile where I studied the rocks and fossils of the Upper Devonian system. Since then I have worked in the Jurassic rocks of the northern Rockies of Wyoming and Montana. My current research is focused on applying shallow geophysical remote sensing to environmental and archaeological problems.†

I live on the coast of Maine with an outcrop of lower Paleozoic metasedimentary rock in my basement.
