CHADBOURNE South Berwick, Maine The Chadbourne site is a 17th century, wealthy settler’s complex. I am employing a full suite of geophysical equipment to explore and extend the site. My students and I have had great results using ground penetrating radar, electrical resisitivity, magnetic gradiometers, and seismics. Many of my courses end up with a field project or two based at Chadbourne. This summer (2008) I will be using our new EM equipment over known targets, comparing the results with GPR to see how well multi frequency EM transmitters compliment GPR.
