Summer Session I, May 23-June 22, 2006

SCHEDULE

 

WE HAVE A LOT TO ACCOMPLISH DURING THE 15 FIELD DAYS.  THERE ARE NO DAYS OFF AND YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE IN THE FIELD AT 8:30AM AND LEAVE THE FIELD AREA AT 4:30PM, RAIN OR SHINE. 

 

THROUGHOUT FIELD CAMP THE GROUP WILL BE DIVIDED INTO TWO SUBGROUPS— ONE SUBGROUP HAS COMPLETED THE INTRODUCTORY FIELD METHODS COURSE IN NEVADA, THE OTHER SUBGROUP WILL BE THE INTRODUCTORY GROUP. THE PROJECTS FOR EACH WILL BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AND WILL BE BASED ON THEIR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.

JUNE 1     LEAVE BOZEMAN, MT AT 8AM, DRIVE TO DILLON, MT.

JUNE 2-3  SECTION MEASUREMENT

JUNE 4-5  FIELD MAP

JUNE 6     YELLOWSTONE TRIP, STAY IN WEST YELLOWSTONE

JUNE 7-15 BIRCH CREEK, FIELD MAP

JUNE 16—DRIVE TO BOZEMAN, MT, RETURN HOME

JUNE 18, 23, 24—4PM-8PM OFFICE HOURS AT SALEM STATE

JUNE 25—5PM ALL REMAINING PROJECTS DUE.
