Beyond Year 2000

Communications has developed such a popular following among students that what has been a Program within the English Department is on the verge of becoming an independent Department on its own. That transformation is projected within the next one-to-two academic years. As we continue to evolve, we will not only be growing in numbers but broadeing our scope and deepening our reach. Our plans include increasing our array of broadcast-oriented courses, boosting the theory-based side of our curriculum and keeping up with the rapid evolution in computer- and Web-based instruction.

Teaching Plans

I will continue to help us enhance our curriculum and the way we deliver it to students. I am committed to working with students both in and out of the classroom to help guide them from students in the academy to career professionals in the Communications business marketplace.
